Book Titles and Big Changes!

Hey Friends!

I just wanted to pop in and drop a quick line to you all! It is a crazy time right now, but I wanted to share some things with you!

First of all, I am two days away from completing the NaPoWrMo Challenge! Along with completing this challenge, I have decided to publish a book of the poems that have come out of it! In very short order I will be announcing my book title and cover design. Make sure to keep your eyes peeled and check your Facebook Updates box!

I am overjoyed at the growth that I have experienced through this process, and I cannot wait to share the finished product with everyone! The book should be ready within the first half of the month of May. I will be getting my webstore up and running most likely and I will also take preorders via email, so let me know if you are interested!

With graduation only 9 days away, my life is changing every second, but this challenge and the pieces that have come out of it have been a big part of keeping me grounded. I am blessed by all of you who have followed my journey and excited to have a book to make available to you in return!

The Dance

Hey friends!

Just wanted to touch base for the week :)

This past week contained alot of, you guessed it, poetry! Several of this past weeks poems reached new levels of honesty, and to be frank I almost didn't post them. But in the vein of integrity to the challenge, they are posted both on facebook and my website!

I have also begun working on book titles and layouts for my upcoming chap book that will contain my 30/30 challenge poems. I am excited to see what develops, and then get the book out to you guys!

Halfway there and my minds already blown!

Hey friends :)

This weeks update is gonna be short and sweet! I'm halfway in to The National Poetry Writing Month Challenge and headlong in to the final two weeks of my college career. Basically this means I have absolutely no time! With that in mind I just wanted to let you know that my YouTube videos and weekly blogs maybe be interrupted for the next few weeks. Butttttt I promise I will get back on track as soon as possible!

NaPoWrMo Poetry Blitz!!!

Hey friends!

Here is the weekly update from The Astronaut Writer camp!

In light of the fact that I am diving headlong into the midst of my final semester of college, I am writing this after writing papers for about two and a half hours solid. I apologize in advance if this sounds wordy or academic in nature, it's simply the mode I am in right now. Also, it's four am so I'm sure that is a contributing factor to this note hah.

This week seems to be fairly quiet musically. I am considering what songs to record for my weekly YouTube videos as we speak, with no luck so far. I am preparing for an upcoming Haiti benefit concert at Metro Hope, but no full concerts or performances on the slate this week.

My main focus artistically right now is my particiption in NaPoWrMo and the 30/30 challenge. I am writing a poem everyday for the month of April an posting them regularly on my website and periodically on my facebook page. Make sure to check the poems out daily and leave any comments you may have! The website address is:
